Magnitude & Direction of Magnetic Field at Point A
At B its much easier since the b field is the superposition of the respective fields. If it was an electric field, then we can just draw a gaussian surface and just see what the surface encloses. Is it the same with magnetic fields to draw a surface and see what current it encloses? I can see...- Legendon

What Is the Work Done by the Gas and the Final Gas Temperature?
Homework Statement An ideal gas at 300 K and 1.5x10^5 Pa is contained in a piston cylinder device. The piston is 0.1m above the base of the cylinder, has a diameter of 0.15 m and is allowed to move freely. Heat is transferred to the cylinder causing the piston to move a distance of 0.05 m. The...- Legendon

Thermodynamics final temperature of gas
"He didn't need to take into account pressure, just as he didn't take into account Volume because PV = nRT. He has nRT, just in the form of m.c.dT." Thank you.- Legendon

Thermodynamics final temperature of gas
I am not using molar heat capacity? on my notes it says Kinetic energy=3/2nRT??. But i am confused with the teacher's method. Is heat dependent on pressure? the teachers method is i see it as putting solution1 of temp1 and solution2 of temp2 together and finding final temp. But with gas of...- Legendon
