Understanding Physics for the Beer Mug Problem
[b]1. A bartender slides a beer mug at 1.50m/s towards a customer at the end of a frictionless bar that is 1.2m tall. the customer makes a grab for the mug and misses, and the mug sails of the end of the bar. What are the speed and direction of the mug at impact? [b]2. Vx=Vocosθ Vy=Vosinθ...- Let It Be

High School Struggling with 2D and Projectile Motion for Your Test?
If you could tell me how to combine the horizontal and vertical componenets with an angle involved, it would be so helpful for me to try the problem -

Projectile Fired at 30° Angle: Speed After 3 Seconds
I don't know what the horizonatl and vertical components of velocity are...can you help please! Vertical acceleration is 9.8m/s^2 (I think) No horizontal acceleration A=Vf-Vi/Tf-Ti?? Then where does the 30° come in?- Let It Be

Projectile Fired at 30° Angle: Speed After 3 Seconds
[b]1. a projectile is fired into the air at a projection angle of 30° above the ground. its initial speed is 327 m/s. what is its speed 3 seconds later [b]2. vf^2=Vi^2+2AΔX [b]3. So, the angle is 30, Vi=327m/s, Tf=3. trying to find Vf...I'm guessing combine horizontal and...- Let It Be

Right, that's where I'm getting stuck is trying to find Vi. Do you have any good website suggestions that are helpful for trying to understand this a bit better? -
