Graduate Is Faster Than Light Travel Possible Through Controlled Space Expansion?
Well if I read right, this is conceivably possible: http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2011/sep/22/faster-than-light-particles-neutrinos If you might somehow patiently manage to line up a long string black holes, using slingshots, that "might" be able to get you to reach the speed of gravity...- LKD_

Graduate Maximum Wind Speeds and Atmosphere Loss on Small Planets
Very very helpful. Thanks for being so well versed to answer this. I'm certain that one could come up with a 1 page equation that would account for a myriad of variables, but the simple understanding fits my level of understanding. Thank you.- LKD_

Graduate Maximum Wind Speeds and Atmosphere Loss on Small Planets
It does. Thank you. But does the gravity have an effect on maximum windspeed for a planet?- LKD_

Graduate Maximum Wind Speeds and Atmosphere Loss on Small Planets
I was reading the Mars article about dunes and I wondered to myself, is there a limit to wind speeds before the wind escapes the planet's gravity and enters into the upper atmosphere, or dissipates in space? Would this be a factor in atmosphere loss that the small planets all seem to have...- LKD_

Stargazing Muon Telescope: The Universe's Secrets
Interesting. Is there a valuable difference between x-rays or gamma rays and muons? Or is the information unhelpful?- LKD_

Stargazing Muon Telescope: The Universe's Secrets
Ref: http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-05-cosmic-rays-southern-sky-physics.html After finishing the article, I wondered, can't this principle be used to understand the universe better? Could we not make a muon telescope and learn some interesting things about emissions in space?- LKD_

Uncovering the Mystery of Scented Soap: The Science Behind the Short-Lived Aroma
OK, I never worried or thought on this till yesterday, and I would like an answer if someone knows. When you open a new brand name bar of soap, by the end of the day, the whole bathroom smells like that soap. Is there an enzyme applied to the outside to make it do this? Because it really...
