    Time Dilation in Childrens Cartoon

Also true, that may very well be the case. One of the animators giving a proverbial "shout out" to the adult males that watch the show. The odds of some of them being physicists is as high as any other profession given how many people watch the show. (For instance, myself.)

    Time Dilation in Childrens Cartoon

Everyone knows that Pinkie Pie is a demi god. It's the only explanation that she's able to do the things that she can do.

    Time Dilation in Childrens Cartoon

I thought it was funny because one of the animators at least has to know what he or she is doing to chunk out a huge piece of Quantum Mechanics. Even though I don't have a degree in physics, I'm fairly learned on the many of the various subjects, albeit the more popular ones. Regardless...

    Time Dilation in Childrens Cartoon

I was watching a cartoon with my niece. Most of the time, cartoons have fairly simple things like 1+1=2 and so on. But this time I saw an equation that looks rather complex. I made a thread before about this, and tons of people replied. If I can tell by what's visible, it's an...

Mysterious Equations in Childrens TV Program

@genericusrnme - It was just a TV show. As I stated in my original post, I was watching it with my niece and just thought it odd. @Moonbear - Only in public high schools. All the good schools require calculus to graduate. @DMTMH - Welcome to the herd. @DaveC426913 - LolDave...

Mysterious Equations in Childrens TV Program

That's what I had originally thought. Some clever artist surfed wiki and found some interesting looking symbols to throw in there for depth. Thank you very much for your posts.

Mysterious Equations in Childrens TV Program

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. But I was watching a cartoon with my niece the other day. And I saw that in the background one of the characters was doing some mathematical equations on a black board. And I noticed some jargen that didn't make sense. I thought nothing of...

The Challenge of Nuclear Fusion: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

Aye. Just bringing it up in conversation.

The Challenge of Nuclear Fusion: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

Sorry, I should have included a link. I read a lot of popular Science, that's where I read about the garbage generator. http://www.popsci.com/scitech/article/2007-03/prophet-garbage

The Challenge of Nuclear Fusion: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

I've read things about some Hydrogen reactor that they can get to burn for like half a second contained inside of a magnetic field. I'm not sure how it creates energy, but I think that's what set me off on Nuclear power. If nothing else, we've at least created an interesting discussion. -...

The Challenge of Nuclear Fusion: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

I'm sorry, I was merely using photovoltaic cells to translate an idea in my head. Perhaps another type of cell or device that can draw it's power from the energy released sub-atomically when fusion occurs.

The Challenge of Nuclear Fusion: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

All I'm saying is that there's got to be a better conversion of the energy. I was thinking of maybe using some kind of photovaic cells, or a more sensitive medium that transfers heat into electricity. This way they can use the heat radiated from the fusion, instead of simply just putting it's...

The Challenge of Nuclear Fusion: Harnessing the Power of the Sun

I had a question after having read an article in an old Popular Science magazine I found at a children's Hospital. These two guys apparently are building a nuclear fusion generator that's going to excite hydrogen plasma inside of a magnetic "sphere", and then they're going to use magnetic...

    Recycled Electromagnetic Induction

I understand this. It doesn't use energy from the generator to spin the turbine. Do you want me to leave? I've thought of all this already. I've already redesigned it about six times. I appreciate your help, I really do. I just wish I could pick your brain a little more. As for my...

    Recycled Electromagnetic Induction

Actually, you're not wrong. I've thought of that before, and it's not a 'magni-generator' or whatever. I'm not changing the process of induction. I'm using a natural way to spin the magnets, is all. (And then recycles the inducted electricity, like a closed circuit battery.) And I appreciate...
