Fukushima Japan earthquake - contamination & consequences outside Fukushima NPP
Just a guess but during WW2 there was a lot of "Cottage Industry" in Japan , maybe there were some Radium Dial painting going on in those areas and the "Vials" were just lost at the end of the war and wound up buried where they are found today. But I think if they were leftovers from the war...- Marita

robinson , did you ever think the "running" was part of the the drill to get the unnecessary people to a designated area ... also some of the running was people going to stations to man equipment. Think General Quarters on a Navy ship ... people running all over the ship , to an outsider it...- Marita

Yep it's real easy for us to sit here without all the alarms screaming and lights flashing after the whole building was shaking for 5 minutes and say "what were they thinking" why didn't they just do x y or z. Been in those situations and sometimes it is really hard to sort out the the highest...- Marita
