Solution to Hydrostatic Bearing Integration Task
Hi everyone! I would like to ask you for help with one of the tasks from my assignment. The rest of the assignment is done including some simple integration but I struggle with this one: Task "The total load capacity for a circular hydrostatic bearing is given as ##W=\int_0^{R_o} p_r(2πr dr) +...- mathi85

What is the Solution for Differential Equation Task 7?
Task 7 Show that y=(1/4)tsin2t satisfies equation d2y/dt2+4y=cos2t Find the general solution and deduce the solution which satisfies y(0)=0 and y'(0)=0. What happens as t increases? Solution In the end I stay with: y=Acos2t+Bsin2t+(1/4)tsin2t...- mathi85

Right I come to the point where: Ve(1/(CR))t=Ee(1/(CR))t+c /:e(1/(CR))t V=E+c/(e(1/(CR))t) if I apply t=0 when V=0 0=E+c c=-E and Part. Sol. V=E+[-E/e(1/(CR))t] Where am I going wrong?- mathi85

Differential equations assignment T6
I'm not sure if it's right but that's how I checked it: θ=(At+B)e-t+4 dθ/dt=(At+B)(-e-t)+Ae-t d2θ/dt2=(At+B)(e-t)+A(-e-t)-Ae-t t=0 θ=0 dθ/dt=0 A=-4 B=-4 [d2θ/dt2=(At+B)(e-t)+A(-e-t)-Ae-t]+2[0]+[(At+B)e-t+4]=4 -4+4+4-4+4=4- mathi85
