Separable differential equation
well you got most of it but i don't know why you are trying 9 and -3 as c. it says y(0) = -3 y = +-4*(x^2+1) + c so y(0) = +-(0^2+1) + c = -3 can you figure it out from here- mathmike

Solving Related Rates Problem: Cylinder Cone Volume and Surface Area
well since the diameter is 10 when the height is 10 you can define one of them in terms of the other one, then you can take the derivitave wrt that variable. do you know how to do this?- mathmike

Physics Question: How Fast Do You Need to Walk to Fall Over a Cliff Railing?
ok so the person is a rigid body. ant this person is walking at a velocity of V. their height is 170 cm and weight is 80kg. the railing is 90 cm high. first thing you do is draw a fbd then determine the forces at the points in which are in contact. you know how to do that?- mathmike

How Do You Determine When to Multiply by \(x\) or \(x^2\) in ODE Solutions?
you would multiply the paticular solution by x^2 when there is a repeated root of multiplicity of 3. In other words if the solution had a triple root of 1. a*e^x + b*x*e^x + c*x^2*e^x- mathmike
