Designing best theoretical sax/clarinet mouthpiece ligand
Hey to all.. I am in the process of designing a ligand for a clarinet mouthpiece for my own use created only out of string material (braided kevlar). For those uninformed (like me a few weeks ago) saxophone/clarinets are instruments where the vibration of the standing wave through the...- matthieu1973

Efficient hit detection on a shot plate with piezo disc
Well, for target practise one usually uses a bullseye with a "grade/point" distribution. If I can determine the "quality" of the hit, I might be able to deduct some similar information out of those figures and grade the hit quality (edge to dead center) Well yeah, similar.. a piezo disk can...- matthieu1973

Efficient hit detection on a shot plate with piezo disc
@jrmichler Oke, the approach of a servo giving an potition error is intrequing. I had not considered that, so my fisrt step will be to dive in that and see if I can get the info and ifso see if i can get info on the amount of displacement. I have found that the servo (not even connected...- matthieu1973

Efficient hit detection on a shot plate with piezo disc
Hello to all, I wish to detect the hit of a airsoft pellet on a shot plate with an ESP32 board. to do this I have basically two options: Either, detect the signal as digital (hit / missed) or detect the signal as analog signal with a piezo disks. The analog signal will have more information...- matthieu1973

Designing a ripple low PS for DDS function generator
ps: you speak of LM360 while i mentioned the LM350 is it an error or do you actuallyy refer to the 360? Both exsist but the 350 seems more appropriate to me for this cause but i could be wrong ofcourse.- matthieu1973

Designing a ripple low PS for DDS function generator
@berkeman: thanks for your reply! the MC34063 would be a switching DC-DC front end here right? or is that a wrong judgement? and as low dropout liniear regulator a LM350A? Kind greats Matthieu- matthieu1973

Designing a ripple low PS for DDS function generator
Hello to all. I am trying to design a ripple free (read as ripple free as possible) power supply (PS) for my DIY DDS function generator. I am (was) in the possession of the hyland 5v to 12v PS which wrecked due to a stupid action on my side, my bad. so i was going to repair it, but i found that...- matthieu1973
