DC Motor Efficiency: Does It Change With Voltage?
Hello, I would like to know if the motor efficiency is changing with respect to applied voltage or it doesn't change. What I do mean. The efficiency=(V*I)/(Torque*velocity) and the power losses= I^2*R. Can I say that mechanical power ( Torque*speed)=V*I-I^2*R If so, can I say that the...- mawad

DC motor torque-speed chart in braking quadrant
All I found is the torque-speed diagram in motoring quadrant. Which follows the following equation : Torque=C1-C2*speed. I am asking what about braking quadrant?- mawad

Hand crank generator battery charger circuit
Hello, I want to use a DC permanent motor as a generator in order to use it to charge a battery. This generator will be rotated by hand. The speed is varying as it rotates by hand. I would like to know what is the circuit that I could use it to charge 12 V chargeable batter? Best wishes,- mawad

In what region (linear,saturation) does a MOSFET act as a variable resistor
Hello All, I would like to do voltage controlled resistance, but the current goes through it is varing between 0 to 15A, and the voltage across its terminals is variable between 0 to 50V. As mentioned in this post MOSFET will not work, and also digital controlled potentiometer will not work...- mawad
