Replacing Resistors in Series: Equivalent Resistance and Calculation
Can two resistors in series be replaced by a single resistor and give an equivalent resistance to the circuit? My answer is yes they can be replaced by a single equivalent resistance buthow must the single resistance be related to the two in series ? will it be in series !?- mich_v87

Closing of switch in series circuit
If an ammeter is connected to the negative terminal of a battery,so it is on the opposite end of the line from where the current leaves the battery and enters the circuit, right? So Why, in a series circuit, the meter needle jumps to it's full value instantaneously with the closing of the switch ...- mich_v87

Connecting resistors in parallel
When resistors are connected in parallel, which one , according to resistance value, carries the larger proportion of the currents? Does the ratio appear to be directly, or inversely, proportional to the ratio of the resistances?- mich_v87

Series Circuit Disconnected at Ammeter: Charge Flow?
Hey i have a little question to ask... when a series circuit is broken (disconnected) at the negative terminal of the ammeter , does the charge flow around the circuit until it gets to the end of the line at the ammeter and then stop ? or does it stop at the moment when it's broken?- mich_v87

What Are Common Sources of Error in an Electric Field Mapping Lab?
hey...we've done few days ago a physics lab experiment about the equipotential lines and electric field where we used the following apparatus: a 6-volts battery , contact switch, wooden board with spring contacts, hand probe, fixed probe, galvanometer, resistance box, wires and conducting papers...- mich_v87
