Undergrad Speed and Spacetime Distortion
different direction as in like x and y axises? so movement through it could be expressed with a linear equation? i also assume that the units on each axis are different to account for physical laws- MikeCB

Undergrad Speed and Spacetime Distortion
OK, i have just been watching a documentary about time (sorry if this is not allowed but it is here: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=turxxx#p/c/B6BE0700688DBF9D/0/V3aYKAJEVfQ) anyway i think i now understand how time changes rate for a person (i am actually going to use time dilation and...- MikeCB

Graduate Relative speed of light paradox
I'm a little baffled by this but let me try and put my own take on it. 1. As you move faster time slows relative to distance? 2. As you move faster large distances seem short due to time slowing? 3. So when you run from the laser it would appear to keep up with you due to the distance you are...- MikeCB

High School Is Time Travel Possible and How Can We Achieve It?
Does absolute zero have anything to do with it? Because i understand time as a measurement of events (or should i say moments?) and temperature as a measure of atomic/sub-atomic vibration (or something like that) and if absolute zero were to be reached the atomic/sub-atomic bits and bobs at...- MikeCB

Can Magnets Really Prevent Car Crashes? Debunking the Myth
Hi, new here. So let's say a car and truck were on collision courses with these magnetic bumpers equipped, wouldn't the trucks bumper field be higher than the cars? If so i could imagine the car being repeled downward and into a flip, at which point the car would pulled towards the trucks...- MikeCB
