Evolution & Mutation: Electrical Engineer Explores
Based on both of your posts, wouldn't you agree that, even if the error in the DNA was found in noncoding DNA, it COULD still have a mutant effect? I did not say that all errors would cause an evolutionary leading mutation, I was just saying that a change in the code COULD result in one. But...- Miracles815

How would a haploid chromosome dna look like?
Sorry, but you are wrong. Yes, recessive genes are still transcribed, but in the final phenotype, the dominant gene is displayed. Therefore, relative to the phenotype, the recessive gene was "cancelled out." These words can be used as a simplified way of describing what occurs. The presence of...- Miracles815

Evolution & Mutation: Electrical Engineer Explores
PF Mentor, what do you mean when you say that most DNA does not code for genes when genes are segments of actual DNA?- Miracles815

How would a haploid chromosome dna look like?
I could have used one gene to answer the question, but its not really correct to say "the gene for wrinkled/non wrinkled...not a big deal the way I worded it. Next question...In the end, after all is said and done, one gene did cancel the other out. Sure, there is much, much more to it, but I...- Miracles815

Graduate Big Bang or Multiverse: Which Theory Explains Our Universe Better?
Nervous...we live in a universe that supposedly started with a big bang. That doesn't mean that a new big bang within the "spaces in-between spaces" is occurring right now...and now...and now. As I type this, many different universes may be filling up with their own space and time. This is why...- Miracles815

Evolution & Mutation: Electrical Engineer Explores
likephysics, a triplet code of mRNA codes for a single amino acid, the building blocks of protein. A mutuation is simply an error in the code, which later causes a different amino acid to be attracted to the forming chain of amino acids, which will later be a protein. If a different amino acid...- Miracles815

How would a haploid chromosome dna look like?
Aravind113122...DNA is, through a series of steps, responsible for synthesizing proteins. After all is said and done with ribosomes and RNA, it was the DNA that had the initial code to make the protein. A gene is a segment of bases on a DNA molecule that makes a specific protein. The above...- Miracles815
