That's true. IMO you're in school for the diploma with hopes of landing in industry or you truly have an interest in your respective field of study and don't care about a graduation date but fully understanding what you're being taught/self-taught.- Moenga

As I'm a comp sci/math major I see a lot of overlap in classes for math and physics majors at my school. Homework Statement ∫▒√(1+x^2 )/x dx Homework Equations The Attempt at a Solution I don't know how to break this up. I know we break partial fraction problems up based on their denominator, however the denominator i this problem is just 'x'.- Moenga

Thank you for the reply. I've taken two semesters of calculus thus far and the program at my university only requires the 2 semester sequence of calculus. Just clarifying, you recommend I continue the course sequence?- Moenga
