What Book Chronicles a Woman's Sudden Descent into Psychosis?
What an amazing book. I always have a hard time finishing a book, usually I stop reading after a few chapters, but this one kept me reading. It's interesting from a human standpoint, to know what people with psychiatric problems go through and to realize that what we often consider to be "mental...- Monique

How can I restore an antique table without completely refinishing it?
Thanks for the advice, the woman I bought if from said it was in her family for a long time and with an aching heart she had to get rid of it (husband thought it didn't fit with the furniture). I'm not expecting it to be fine furniture, even though I like the construction and details. The table...- Monique

How can I restore an antique table without completely refinishing it?
Today I bought this really cute little antique table made out of solid wood. The top however is in poor condition, the finish is worn through in many places. The rest of the table is fine, what is the best way to fix it up? I don't want to refinish the whole thing, I like to keep the original...- Monique

From one day to the next she went into psychosis and had to be hospitalized. The story intrigued me (how the mind can distort reality), but I didn't buy the book at...- Monique

Is it time for Random Thoughts - Part 4?
I'm already bringing a bag of cold-hard cash, but their lawyers appear not to want it. I just googled "how to bribe a lawyer", but it didn't get me anything (other than the attention of the national security force, probably).- Monique

World’s Oldest Engraving by Homo erectus
Amazing, a piece of creative expression... between 540,000 and 430,000 years old... made by Homo erectus. "The engraving was probably made on a fresh shell specimen still retaining its brown [skin], which would have produced a striking pattern of white lines on a dark ‘canvas'" World’s Oldest...- Monique

Where did all the physics ladies go?
Yes, because it's all I ever wanted. Now having experienced it I am seriously beginning to doubt a future, but then I'm faced with a lot of politics and legal stuff that is completely distracting me from the science. I'm feeling like dropping out, which I never could have imagined. I have no...- Monique
