I apologize. I didn't see any general chemistry categories, so I am posting my question here.
Microbes and methane are inextricable from one another. My question is this. Are microbes "encased" in gases like methane when they rise into the atmosphere? Surely microbes can become particulate...
Per our previous conversation, I am investigating these strange sewer like fumes to which I react. Is there a possibility that I am reacting to a combination of H2S and CH4?
I’m assuming 6V is a suitable battery for such process. The terminals on this type of battery are different from what I’ve seen on other types. The positive terminal is “capped” with black plastic. With this cap intact, would I be able to generate electrolysis?

I did a little online research. What I’ve gleaned is that unless you drive a high performance car, like a sports car for example, and unless the manual specifically recommends it, spending money on high octane gas is pointless.
Technology has improved our lives in ways that a layperson like me, wouldn’t even know without forums like this one. It’s also destroying our lives, but that’s a whole other show.
I purchased a H2S meter in 2020. Didn’t yield any results. It was like $150. I returned it. I didn’t realize until this year, that it could also be methane. I bought a natural gas meter for $30 this year and it beeped to the highest level. I took a video, then returned it. Now I’m trying...
Who knew you were a fireman?! This is an awesome coincidence. Yes most people would naturally trust the fire department’s detectors. However, even the layperson cannot deny the many other “coincidences” in the circumstances that I described in the last post. I don’t have any doubt that there...
