How does a capacitor act as a phase shifter for AC voltage in an RC circuit?

With a capacitor its charge builds faster with higher voltage, and as charge builds the circuit's current decreases, so as the voltage increases the current decreases, then as the voltage decreases vise versa happens so now the voltage and current are offset. The original currents was in-phase...

Force Question: Hammer vs. Nail Impact

It is a question about Newton' third law of motion. Which states that for every force there is an equal and opposite force. That means the nail hits the hammer with the same force as the hammer hits it. Also when you jump you are pushing on the Earth and the Earth pushes back making you...

Is your velocity constant in space-time?

If your velocity is c then what is the measure of your velocity through time?

Is your velocity constant in space-time?

I was just wondering are you always going at a constant velocity through space-time since, as your through space increases you time slows down and vice versa. So does this mean you are maintaining a constant velocity, and if so what is that velocity.

How can a black hole bend light?

A black hole not only absorbs light and matter, it also distorts space time so much it bends light.

Steel bar bisected by event horizon

Not only will it spaghettify the rod the gravity will become infinite pass the event horizon causing it to accelerate to the singularity near c also as the bar gets closer the event horizon the bar will try to orbit faster than the spacecraft making it break off.

Does a black hole cause light to move faster?

I hypothesis that because a photon has no mass gravity only affects it by adjusting it's trajectory.
