Maybe the idea of a floating city sounds like sifi, but the idea of research to see if Venus has materials that we could use such as fuel for ships sounds possible. I use to think life couldn't be on Venus until I took a biology class in college that changed my mind. If life can exist in...
The methane is still there. It could be released from the planet by means of a shock underground caused by many forms of contact like maybe a landing of our rover or meteor, a measurement is found as it dissipates quickly into the already very thin atmosphere. Great topic.
Quantum materials could open up so many possibilities in our life time. Can you imagine what this could mean in space travel? I will be watching this discovery for sure.
Thanks Dave, I really enjoy looking at our wonderful creation from the tiniest life here on Earth to our vast universe. I wish NASA would hurry up and discover how to make artificial gravity and find a way to make a "warp" engine that could stand up to Einstein's theory of relativity. I know...
We humans are very adaptable. We have always found a way to make the environment fit us. The long trek to Mars is possible and then when we get there, we will have gravity. As I heard a quote in a movie once, "life finds a way".
I am no smart person like the rest of you, but I find it fascinating about how physics works. I am deeply motivated to know about how we would solve this problem about gravity and space flight. Would a particle accelerator be used to help solve this problem or am I way off base?
I may not have any answers but I may have questions that can help you with answers. Questions that may trigger a response you haven't thought of? Never know.
