Trouble finding a general formula for the nth term
Im having trouble finding a general formula for the nth term for the sequence {1, 1/2, -1/6, -7/24, 1/24, 7/48, -19/336, -503/4480, 17257/362880, 12913/145152,...} if one exist so far I am guessing that n! has something to do with it a hint would be super cool!- noslen

Uncovering the Secrets of Calculus 2 and Physics: Strategies for Success
Im already planning a strategy for next semester. I think I am going to spend more time reading the books and thinking about the laws and theorems; Rather than working problem after problem like last semester. Great feedback! :-p- noslen

Uncovering the Secrets of Calculus 2 and Physics: Strategies for Success
hey everyone Im currently looking at my white board. I can see ghosts of Riemann sums not fully erased. I call them ghost because they scared me yesterday when I almost forgot how to work one! Wait I think I see something emerging from the dark depths of my book shelf...oh my godsh its my...- noslen

Calc Help: Find a, b & c Using Point of Inflection & Local Max
yes, the calculation you may have made a minor error 0=3a(4) + (4)b + c c= -12b - 4b yes c would equal zero according to this statement but i think you meant c=-12a - 4b- noslen

Solving a Growing Tree Problem with dy/dx=x/10
Can't seem to set this problem up Suppose a tree grows at a yearly rate equal to 1/10 of its height. If the tree is 10 ft tall now, how tall will it be in 5 years? dy/dx=x/10 y=(x^2)/20+c Im almost guessing this is right so far, if so will the 10ft be my constant?- noslen
