Radioactive Decay: Alien Element Unstable Isotope
Ok, let's forget about the FTL data transfer, I searched google, but I couldn't find how much of the particles emitted from the radioactive elements are actually entangled - 1%, 10%... 100%? And if 100% of the particles are pairs what benefits scientists could have from such a property?- Ogi

Radioactive Decay: Alien Element Unstable Isotope
Hi guys, in my plot I have an unstable isotope of an alien element and I was wondering wouldn't it be nice if most of the particles generated from the decaying are entangled, how do you think, does it sound silly and totally impossible? If it is a good idea, then how such a property can be used...- Ogi

Properties of X Element for Sci-Fi Story Writing
The exotic barion sounds like a good solution. I think I need to read and learn more about physics and chemistry, cause I really don't want to sound stupid while explaining the alien element. And maybe the alien race is a good excuse not to dig deep into the nature of the exotic element. Thank...- Ogi

Properties of X Element for Sci-Fi Story Writing
looks like I'm expecting too much from this new element, so I'll try to find a good way not to explain why it is super conductive under such high temperatures(-20 C). I'm also thinking about an extinct race once lived on the planet that could have made those crystals from the X element and...- Ogi

Properties of X Element for Sci-Fi Story Writing
Hi, in the sci-fi story I'm writing there is a planet rich of carbon-like element(let's name it X element), that must posses this characteristics: 1 - X element common form is stable(non-radioactive) and it's like graphite - soft and with dark metallic shine. while it's hardest allotropic form...- Ogi

Writing Sci-Fi Story: Creating an Alien World - Help Needed
In my story the moon will not be tidally locked, is this it possible for such a large satellite? Also the moon will be rotating clockwise both around the gas giant and it's axis. Equatorial radius - is this a good example when we want to describe the size of a planet? Yes the satellite...- Ogi

Writing Sci-Fi Story: Creating an Alien World - Help Needed
Thank you for the answer. Yes I'm aware of that, I suppose when the two suns are eclipsing then the day and night would be equal, now I'm trying to construct a binary solar system with MAYA to get better picture of the phases, rotations and other motions in the system... Also my plot places...- Ogi
