High School Can Random Methods and Limits Improve My Understanding of Numbers?
lol, Like I said.. Can you show me how to do it. I seriously just kinda started learning this stuff by myself. I can grasp it, if someone can show me the steps. If I can see the steps, I can understand it. Unless there are certain rules of course that go along with it but those are...- Oh the irony

Undergrad Calculate Force in Newtons From 95 lb Weight Falling 1m
lol I'm not really understanding, its only possible for me to learn if someone does the whole calculation and I can actually see it. Can you do it for me? The object is falling for 1 second and went 1 meter in that 1 second. I want to know the force that it hits the ground. can you...- Oh the irony

Undergrad Calculate Force in Newtons From 95 lb Weight Falling 1m
How do I convert them to Newtons? I did 95/ 9.81 = 9.7 so isn't the force 9.7 Newtons? or how do i get Newtons?- Oh the irony

Undergrad Calculate Force in Newtons From 95 lb Weight Falling 1m
Alright, well. How do I get mass out of pounds? I need to figure out what the force is in Newtons on someone when they fall 1 meter. The person weighs 95 pounds. Do I need to convert it to kilograms then divide that by the gravitational constant of 9.81 m/s? or can I just do 95/9.81...- Oh the irony

Undergrad The Everlasting Cycle of the Universe
Alright. So I have an idea, and I'm not sure if it has been thought up yet. So, We all know what the Big Bang is. I'm going to assume that you've heard of the big "Crunch", I believe it was called. Well, What if when the Universe comes together, or "crunch's" a big bang happens. All of...- Oh the irony

Graduate Time technically stops after the event horizon correct?
Black holes, Time technically stops after the event horizon correct? So, Let's say, We had a string.. That cannot be ripped, broken, streched, or anything that would harm or alter it's position. Let's say, It was 20,000 Light years long and on each end of it was a black hole pulling. Now, We'd...- Oh the irony

Undergrad Black holes and conversation of energy
Yes, I understand that but what I'm saying is the mass that created it. When all that packet up matter goes further then the mass of a neutron star, down too the point that it's crushed down to litterly nothing. How can that be? It's destroyed and that violates that law.- Oh the irony

Undergrad Black holes and conversation of energy
Alright, According to the law of Conversation of Energy states that, Energy in a system may take on various forms (e.g. kinetic, potential, heat, light). The law of conservation of energy states that energy may neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore the sum of all the energies in the system...- Oh the irony
