    Advancing Humanity: Thoughts on Existence

I think the nature of efficiency will arse up the quality of everything and will be a far bigger threat to us and everything else than nuclear weapons. Id go into more detail but its late here *snooze*

The Three Purposes of the Universe: A Revelation.

All i can say is - the universe seems to be underpinned by physical principles that favour the evolution of systems that move along a gradient of ever increasing complexity. I guess to be alittle bit more speculative id say the universe is a process that favours variety of expression in form...

Graduate Is the Holographic Universe Theory Still a Valid Concept?

the holographic universe theory is an interesting on but as zoobyshoe said it never really made it as a 'proper' theory. I am going to see if i can find some interesting pages on it, its pretty much the only theory out there that's even atempted to explain the nature of omnipresent information...

Is Our Universe Intentionally Fostering Life and Intelligence?

Well i wouldn't say it was rubbish, then again id hardly say it was a brilliant insight either. Its really nothing i haven't mulled over myself on a lazy sunday afternoon such as this. :-p Personally id say he's probably nearer the mark than assuming specified consciousness is some weird freak...

Explore the Unknown Universe: Conscious Field, Spirits and Life Force

I think youre definitely on the right lines, its a beautiful thing to actually tap into the overwhelming pool of knowledge that seems to timelessly exist all around us, and its something that's very difficult to accurately describe with words. Although a good analogy would be the internet; it...

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

I see exactly what youre saying and i agree to an extent, but look at it this way, atheists are essentially saying that despite everything we experience day to day having a first cause, we are going to decide that the universe itself has no cause, it simply came into being for no reason...

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

Well, I've experienced an expansion of my consciousness first-hand so its not something i base on assumption, its hard to explain how i knew it wasnt an illusion, the nearest thing i could compare it to is being in love, if you are in love you don't question it, you just know it. To put it...

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

Well, not to be rude but there is no logic atall to what youre saying here, there is no reason to believe that the known patholagy (in this case a seizure) must be an illusion. Therefore youre using one lack of/or bad reasoning to justify another. And still without actually giving a real reason...

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

Thats a fair comment, yes these experiences can be damaging in a sense in regards to your day to day survival. It would have to come down to the individual to decide if these experiences were a hinderance or a help, and to see a doctor if it was the former. Not entirely, it can come in many...

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

When i say collective consciousness i mean a kind of hyper awareness, a feeling of eternal knowledge and of everything being connected. Ive exeprienced it first hand and know of other people that have too. I've only achieved this through meditation and a combination of drugs however, but there...

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

Yeah that's fair, i wouldn't call that enlightened either, i was referring more to experiences of a collective consciousness, which i frequently hear people catagorise as some kind of malfunction of brain and nothing more.

Can you prove God's non-existence(question only for atheists,if possible)?

Hmm yeah i think I've been part of a few of those kinds of threads before, people can believe what ever they like quite frankly, you can read all the evidence either way. However i still can't help but cringe alittle when people refer to people having enlightened experiences as having 'glitches'...

Probably not, still pretty daft though
