Calculating Capacitor Charge Time: 1000 uF, R Value
Hello all, I was reading this post on calculating the capacitor charge time: https://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=145203. My problem is i have a capacitor (1000uF) and i want to determine its charge time but don't know the R value, is it something i chose arbitrarily or should it...- OZwurld

Engineering Need to calculate power expended by the motor
Thanks, one other thing though: on that wapsite there is both Friction Coefficient: 1.00 & Rolling Resistance Coefficient: 0.014, How does the Friction Coefficient affect my vehicles motion, does it bring some kind of force?,...does it affect the power the motor uses up in this case!?- OZwurld

Engineering Need to calculate power expended by the motor
@jack action thanks for your help: 1)I am assuming since you said all this forces are resistances then they should be "added" . 2)I didn't have to calculate the grade slope.. it was given as is , the car is going up a racing route with details given here [URL...- OZwurld

Engineering Need to calculate power expended by the motor
Homework Statement i need to calculate the power used up to carry a vehicle with 433mm diameter wheels, mass of 163kg up a slope of 3%. The horizontal distance of the slope is 2.9km. The surface of the slope is asphalt with rolling resistance of 0.22 From the following motor specs...- OZwurld
