Can Draining Standing Water Effectively Contain Dengue and Malaria?
A bowl of water is kept in the open for 24 hours then drained into a sand bucket.If this is done repeatedly, in as many localities as possible & overseen by the health department of local municipal bodies, can the procedure not contain dengue? Breeding will not progress beyond the egg/larva stage.- P K Pillai

A pair of spur gears, axis of rotation offset (offcenter) equally in both cases,pcd engagement adjusted automatically by a cam & finger arrangement will allow for a high starting torque changing to a high rpm after 180 degrees of rotation.This, hopefully, may act as a stop & go system. What is the best way to use solar heating to cool a living space?
Air heaters The tank could be fitted internally with finned air heaters powered by photovoltaic cells.This will increase tank pressure substantially.Small dia orfices at the outlet end will reduce the temperature.- P K Pillai
