Undergrad Historical and Philosophical Foundations for Mathematics, Writing a Math Book
I found it very interesting you should update the thread when you add more to it. I would add a section on the basic formulas/equations in algebra II and Geometry. It really goes well with the recap you mentioned in your first post: Like Area,Perimeter and Volume for basic shapes. You could also...- pantechc70

Testing How can I calm my nerves before an exam?
I have a very similar problem; the only thing I can say that really works is taking about 30-45 minutes before the exam to just relax and have some fun. It really helps me focus on the test when I am relaxed before it. You can also try being as prepared as possible I know if I haven't studied...- pantechc70

Graduate Theorize Possible Colonization on Europa
Lol yes, until we learn how to not contaminate everything we touch we can never investigate if there is life. If we sent a probe to Europa now we'd probably end up finding the bacteria we brought there.- pantechc70

Graduate Theorize Possible Colonization on Europa
I agree, Mars or even the moon would make much better colonies than Europa. If only because they aren't sitting inside a cloud of radiation. The only reason a colony on Europa would be useful is if we can confirm there is water underneath the surface. Which means it could possibly have life.- pantechc70

Graduate Theorize Possible Colonization on Europa
If you want this to be anything near realistic, the "shelter" the astronauts will live in has to be radiation proof. Europa is inside Jupiter's deadly radiation belt so that will be the biggest problem that your astronauts have to deal with. I can't say for sure what it would do to humans or...- pantechc70

Which Course Should I Take for My Physics Major?
What you have described Jery is exactly what the syllabus says the Observational Astronomy class entails. So the one you took is most likely very similar to it.- pantechc70

Which Course Should I Take for My Physics Major?
I have not started yet ( I have been accepted ), but I did not take pre-calculus in high school. So I am having to take it my first semester then calculus I my second. Until I finish pre-calculus I cannot take any of my physics courses ( That count towards my major.) Since they all require...- pantechc70

Which Course Should I Take for My Physics Major?
So for my first semester of college ( I am a Physics Major. ) I have most of my classes picked out. The last one I need is either Introduction to Physics which isn't required for my major nor is it a pre-requisite for anything I need, but I feel it would be useful for preparing for my Physics...- pantechc70
