Thanks. I don't think that's quite what I'm looking for but it looks like a worthwhile thing to check out.- Pants

Graduate Graph representation of particles
Howdy. I'm interested in finding connections between graph theory and particle physics, particularly where particles are represented as nodes on a graph. It's my understanding that this is not a unique idea. Would anyone know where I can find some of these models? I'm trying to figure out if...- Pants

Graduate How Does the Feynman Propagator Change When Multiple Photons Are Involved?
Thanks! I was under the impression that the Feynman propagator took this stuff into account for the case of a single photon, but it sounds like that has to be factored in on top of the probability of the simple path from place to place. I remember a footnote in QED about taking multiple hops...- Pants

Graduate How Does the Feynman Propagator Change When Multiple Photons Are Involved?
In QED, Feynman talks about P(A to B), the probability that a photon starting at a particular point in space will travel to a different point in space (I've since learned that P(A to B) is actually the Feynman propagator, unless I was midled). What I'm wondering is - what happens if there are...- Pants

Vince's Search for Online Physics Education
Thanks for the information. I'm starting to think that, at least at present, even if I don't have the best choices in the two nearby universities, meatspace classes will likely be better than most online options. Having said that, I'd happily switch to OCW if it became available for credit...- Pants

Vince's Search for Online Physics Education
Greetings all. I graduated with a math degree about a decade ago, but what I'd really like to do is study physics. The problem is that I don't have great options locally, but my day job is going to keep me here, at least for now. I'm hoping to find something good in terms of online education...- Pants
