Maths Genie (new A Level page videos but no worksheets?)

TL;DR Summary: Videos but no worksheets. I see Maths Genie have their new A Level page up, with a video for each topic. But no worksheets. Does anyone know if there will be worksheets added later?

Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah.

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Thanks a lot guys. I got there in the end, thanks to all of you, and a bit of extra help from Maths is Fun. (Flip AEB on its head, as it were, to put E at the top, with A still at the bottom left, etc. Other value of x = 14.5) I found this one very tough, but then it was Higher tier (GCSE...

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Thanks, Steve. I'll give this a go after I've revisited the very basics; I fear I've got myself in a right muddle :)

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Thanks. I thought they had to be parallel in order for the triangles to be similar (?).

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Thanks. Can similar shapes be equal in side lengths and angles; basically the same , except for how they are positioned?

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Back to basics. Are the two triangles they are referring to as follows; ABE, the small triangle, bottom left? And, ACD, the large triangle, which is the whole picture, and incorporates ABE? Is AED, the base of the large triangle, 15cm (12+3)? Is AE, the base of the small triangle 12/15ths of...

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Thanks, guys. Loads for me to think about; I'll get back to this shortly. For now; yes, by (SF) I mean Scale Factor. Sorry about that.

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

Thanks. I wasn't until now, as I didn't think it was relevant, but you've got me thinking about it. My guess is the relationship is always the same; the side of the small triangle * SF = side of the large triangle?

    Geometry: Similar Shapes

    Why are there two possible values of x? Here's what I've done so far. AE(SF)=AD 12(SF)=15 SF=15/12 =5/4 AB(SF)=AC 8(5/4)=AC AC=10 AC-AB=x x=10-8 x=2 A hint please, as to my next step

B Conservation of Energy: Ball on a U-Shaped Ramp

I’m working my way through Khan Academy’s High School Physics and I want to check that I’m getting the concept of conservation of energy. Is the following at least roughly correct? When a ball is rolled down a U-shaped ramp from the top of one side it will, ignoring friction, travel to the...

Is this a good deal (laptop)?

Definitely. I do find it helpful as a starting point though, with a lot of things. Have a good back and forth with it, then check out the conclusion with other websites and real people. I like that you can bombard it with endless (sometimes inane) questions, and it never tires of it :)

Is this a good deal (laptop)?

Hearing bloatware is often an issue has made me think a business model would be better (I hear they are better generally too). And although I don’t need anything fantastic, I’m inclined to go for 16” screen, 16GB RAM, mabye 512GB storage. I do hear you can ‘de-bloat’ yourself, but it sounds like...
