Graduate Does the speed of light change with the age of the universe?

I would say that C is not a characteristic of the light but a consequence of space/time in our universe, so it can not be a costant value.

Graduate Is Light Truly Constant Despite Its Properties?

I would say: Maximum speed is just a characteristic of the environment called space-time and speed of light is a show of it, so it is independent by the intensity or frequency. Light conforms with, and so well describes, the behaviour of our space-time.

Undergrad Can someone explain equivalence of gravity and inertia?

It's exactly what I've tried to say, thanks.

Undergrad Can someone explain equivalence of gravity and inertia?

Put a ball on an elastic surface, trying to move it you can establish that the ball would like to remain in the original position (as the elastic surface has been distorted by the ball), this is the inertia, after that put another second ball on the same surface, you may see that the two balls...

Graduate How does gravity curve spacetime?

That's not correct, nothing is exactly nothing while space is something, and gravity is a space behaviour, distortion, in presence of bodies.

Graduate Possible website title: The Origin of the Universe: A Scientific Inquiry

Knowing what caused the bang means to know what was before it, in this case was not the bang the origin of our universe but just a next step part of it. Continuing in this way it could be easily demonstrated that the universe exists, in different forms or dimensions, all along.

Perhaps I am still missing something, but what happen if the Earth stops rotating ?

Graduate Uncovering the Mystery of Centrifugal Forces: Hafele and Keating Experiment

I don't suppose he is sitting, he has the same absolute speed with respect the inertial frame as the other, and his speed with respect to the surface of the Earth could be the double as the other one.

Graduate Start from Nothing: An Exploration of Pre BB Thinking

God has no limits, He is eternal and He is over everything, eternal universe included. We have to separate science and religion as science is very limited by our brains. You can enlarge the science borders as you like, God will remains always over/out of them. I can believe in God and in an...

Graduate Start from Nothing: An Exploration of Pre BB Thinking

A watch can't be built from nothing, it is necessary the material and a watchmaker who is out of the watch. Nothing can come from nothing, unless it exists all along, and this seems to be the easier answer.

Graduate Time can't exist without matter (mass) and motion

Any distortion of the space/time may affect speed of light, but it's better to say that an electromagnetic, or gravitational, field can do it, even if you still measure "C" as a result of the space/time distortion.

Graduate Time can't exist without matter (mass) and motion

No, I would say that photon' behaviour strictly depends by the space geometry and properties, and C is a limit given by the space (our space) as well. So C=0 means there is no space for a photon to travel, but this is a nosense in our dimensions.

Undergrad Black holes created the big bang?

Black holes are just one of the faces of the universe, they represents a distorted part of it. That is, the universe couldn't be created by a part of it.

Krom, I fully agree on your detailed explanation of my sentence, it's exactly what I meant. Thank you Pippo
