Undergrad Calculating Hamiltonian matrix elements in a chaotic system
The system in which I tried to calculate the Hamiltonian matrix was a particle in a stadium (Billiard stadium). And I used the principle where we take a rectangle around the stadium in which the parts outside the stadium have a very high potential V0. We know the wave function of a rectangular...- Pyrus96

Undergrad Understanding the change of flux and it's consequences
So I was busy trying to imagine the ways in which lenz's Law would work physically. So I imagined a loop through which a magnet is brought and after that the magnet is pulled out of the loop a current is induced in order to keep up the magnetic field. So in this case the flux would go down which...- Pyrus96

Can Online Forums Enhance Learning for Physics Students?
Hi, my name is Pyrus and I'm a physics student at KULeuven I came here because reading several threads helped me out a lot, so signing up here could help me hopefully with my own questions.- Pyrus96

Undergrad Do All Physical States Satisfy the Hamiltonian Equation Hψ = Eψ?
I came across a previous exam question which stated: Do all physical states, ψ, abide to Hψ = Eψ. I thought about it for a while, but I'm not really sure.- Pyrus96
