So, when the scientists at Fermilab, or the LHC, smash particles together, they may in fact be smashing universes together, and destroying untold billions of life forms.
Let's hope our universe isn't next in the queue at a particle accelerator in some higher universe! :eek:

That's good, because I'm thinking it will take a lot of devices, almost clockworks complex, to make it work with the square boxes. Any idea of the final size of this project? Do you have the means to make gears?
What is the purpose of this "box of compartments"? And, do you intend for the mechanism to be hidden?
The only solution I can see is to use round "boxes". That would eliminate the problem of turning corners, and you might be able to use chain & sprockets to move them around inside the box.
Is the universe infinite? If it isn't infinite, then how much bigger is it than the observable universe? How would humans ever be able to answer the second question?
I can't imagine the universe being finite, because that would mean besides there being a "here", there would have to be a...
