Ignore voltage reference on resistors?
Thanks, Rainier. That helps a lot! For some reason, I thought that the voltage reference symbols indicated whether an element supplied or consumed power. This clears up my confusion about "resistors supplying power." Thanks again!- rp1242

Math Math Majors, Programmers as Backup Plan?
I have read that those with bachelor's degrees in math and or physics enter the work force in the capacity of software developers. I am curious as to how they acquire the necessary programming skills. Do employers assume they're "smart enough to learn" and provide a period of time for on the job...- rp1242
