How to Calculate Pressure Difference in Aorta with Ideal Fluid Model
Homework Statement An aneurysm is an abnormal enlargement of a blood vessel such as the aorta. Suppose that, because of an aneurysm, the cross-sectional area A1 of the aorta increases to a value A2 = 1,7A1. The speed of blood, with average density of 1060 kg/m3, through a normal portion of...- Rron

How Do You Solve for (z)xy Given These Equations?
A very logical problem. Homework Statement x5y=3z and x3y=z2-3z-2 so what is (z)xy Homework Equations No equations, just multiplication, division etc. The Attempt at a Solution let xy=a a^5=3z we can write this as a^15=(3z)^3 a^3=z^2-3z-2 also this a^15=(z^2-3z-2) and then...- Rron

A composition of function problem
Sorry but still nothing. Maybe it is because I learned these a long time ago. It actually has been 3 years since I last solved a function problem like this. So can you please show me the way that you solved this problem in order to save time struggling with the problem and then at the end...- Rron

A composition of function problem
this is what i tried: if f(x)=ax+b then f(2)=2a+b I substituted f(x) in f(f(x)) with ax+b so it becomes f(ax+b)=4x-15 Now ax+b=2 so from this x=2-b\a so if u substitute x in the equation above f(2)=4(2-b\a)-15 then I equalized 4(2-b\a)-15=2a+b, but from this u can't get anything.- Rron
