Understanding System Stability: BIBO Stability Question Explained
Hi, I am trying to find out if a system is bounded (stable) or not, and I don't understand the process, I basically have these two functions, y1[n]=n2*x[n] y2[n]=x4[n] According to my notes, y1[n] is not stable, as the output is proportional to n2 which is not bounded, I understand...- rusty009

Designing a lowpass Butterworth filter
Hi all, I am trying to design a lowpass filter using the following conditions Passband edge f = 10 Khz (Ωp) passband stop f = 30 Khz (Ωs) Minimum stopband attenuation = 50db (1/A) Maximum passband attenuation = 0.4db( 1/\sqrt{1+ε2} ) and am having quite a lot of trouble with it. I have tried...- rusty009

How Do You Connect Vcc+ and Vcc- in a TL072 OpAmp Circuit?
Ok, sorry for this basic question, I am currently designing a sallen-key high pass filter using a TL072 opAmp, with the schematic shown below, This circuit is connected to a piezo trasnducer whose signal I wnat to amplify. I was wondering, what do I connect to the Vcc+ and Vcc- pins of...- rusty009

Can science prove that god doesn't exist ?
Read my post, at no point did I try to prove god does not exist, I put out my reasoning for why I thought science can't prove if god does or does not exist !- rusty009

Can science prove that god doesn't exist ?
Before I start the discussion, I would like to point out that I am not a very religious person neither am I an Athiest, I’m not trying to provoke any science Vs religion argument, would just like you to share your thoughts. Ok, my understanding of science is that it is an analytical subject...- rusty009

Undergrad How can I find the values for B and C in a partial fractions equation?
Hey guys, I have a quick question concerning partial fractions, say i have the values A(..)+B(..)+C(..) and i can only get A b substituting a value for x, but I can not make A or C go zero or A and B go to zero at the same time, if you understand ? How do I get the values B and C ? I remember...- rusty009

Obtain the time constant from a transfer function
Hey, say I have a transfer function, G(s) = s/(6.25+s) How would I calculate the time constant for this transfer function? Also, if I wanted to sketch a bode plot for this transfer function, would I split it up into s* 1/(6.25+s) ? Thanks in advance.- rusty009

Battery charging via Solar pannel
Hey guys, I recently conducted an experiment which involved charging a battery via a PV module and also logging the I and V values to calculate conversion efficiencies. I also logged the I and V values from two other circuits with a fixed resistance. I understand that every irradiation has a...- rusty009

Help with Bode Plots | Gain Calculation
Hey, could some one please help me with bode plots. I have a transfer function, lets say G(s)=0.16s/(1+0.16s) if I want to find the gain at 10 rads/s, do I subsitute s for 10 and then take 20log( G(10) )? Thats what I thought the method was, but now in my notes it says, Gain = 0.16ω/√(1...- rusty009
