Phinds, I was asking Darksyde but I do appreciate both of your responses. I'm not a scientist (far, far from it) but have always enjoyed learning about sciences. It is however much interesting that you bring up the issue of metaphysics. Why do you think my interest is more of metaphysical nature?

Does light have mass? Is light affected by gravity? What should something have to be affected by gravity?

Can anyone explain to me in easy terms a couple of things? 1- five minutes prior to the big bang, what was there? 2- did matter exist before the big bang? 3- if no matter existed prior to the big bang, what was there?
