    Change in velocity, average acceleration

Homework Statement Earth's orbit around the SUn is nearly circular. THe period is 1 year = 365.25 days. In an elapsed time of 2.70 days, what is Earth's angular displacement? what is the change in Earth's velocity (perpendicular to the average velocity) What is the Earth's average acceleration...

What is the Angular Speed of a Rocket Ride?

Homework Statement In an amusement park rocket ride, cars are suspended from L = 4.19 m cables attached to rotating arms at a distance of d = 6.05 m from the axis of rotation. The cables swing out an angle of theta = 46.7 degrees when the ride is operation. What is the angular speed of...

Angular Displacement: Earth's Orbit 2 Days

OHH so i would just do v= 6378 km ( 1.99 x 10^-7) and that would give me my answer in km/second?

Angular Displacement: Earth's Orbit 2 Days

.0172 radians/ days.. but its not asking for angular velocity so it doesn't want my answers in radians/ days or hours or seconds

Angular Displacement: Earth's Orbit 2 Days

Is there anyway you can also help me find out the change in the Earth's velocity? i know that velocity is change in distance over time. but it keeps telling me that i can' tput my answer in radians/seconds so i dontk now how to do it
