One Variable at a Time Approach
thanks for reply Baluncore; as you said that "i should start with a recommended or best guess of parameters" and for those who like me lack of experience and first time run an experiment, how i know such values because the papers i have read all them machining steal no aluminum or copper using...- salah haddad

One Variable at a Time Approach
hi guys, i am going to machine aluminum using EDM die sinking to study the MRR, TWR and Surface finish. i have read many papers where "One Variable at a Time Approach is used" but do not understand how the input parameters are chosen or i can choose them randomly? thanks- salah haddad

Highest MRR for Die Sinking EDM on Copper, Steel, Aluminum
Thanks. my answer is that the highest MRR should be achieved from Aluminum then copper then the stainless steel the reason for this is that Aluminum has the lowest melting point compared with others And regarding the TWR i think when we machine copper we get the lowest TWR because the...- salah haddad

Highest MRR for Die Sinking EDM on Copper, Steel, Aluminum
hi guys, which one of those material you think it should give highest material removal rate by using die sinking EDM. the tool is copper and workpiece are 1. copper 2. stainless steel 3. aluminum lets assume the same input parameters will be used for those three material thank you- salah haddad
