Undergrad Is it possible to calculate this geometrical relationship between circles?
I meant by N has a fraction that of number of circles not the number of polygon sides ... anyway thanks for the great work- Sameh soliman

Undergrad Is it possible to calculate this geometrical relationship between circles?
Thanks for the great work... but is that the closest that we can get ?.. i mean it's the right answer because N is equal 18 but what if in another case N has a fraction ... then by this method we can never know it's accurate value- Sameh soliman

Undergrad Is it possible to calculate this geometrical relationship between circles?
A large cirlcle with radius 50 m contains a smaller circle with radius 7.4 m that is tangent to its surface internally. Is it possible to calculate what number of the small circle the larger circle can contain iside it in which all are tangent to its surface ... but without using trig. Functions- Sameh soliman

Is there a mechanism that can mimic our applied force and time duration?
Thanks for your interest My project simply is a mechanical device that regulate the force transmission from one object to another and could be used for many applications, in other words let's say i want to transmit a forse of 50N to an object from an unconstant force source, so if the force...- Sameh soliman

Is there a mechanism that can mimic our applied force and time duration?
May be i need to make my self more clear. It has note to be instant like the example you gave ... i needed to store the energy as exacly as it was gained, then later it will give it back when needed For example a piston that when you push on it with a small force it will move slowly until it...- Sameh soliman

Is there a mechanism that can mimic our applied force and time duration?
The mechanism i need is one that give a reflex which is equivalent to the force we apply on it, so let's say you push on it softly for a long duration of time, then it will return softly for nearly the same duration of time. or if you pushed on it very hard for a short period of time, then it...- Sameh soliman

Will Water Levels Equalize in Two Connected Tanks Despite Pipe Friction?
I know that water losses pressure as it move throw a pipe due to friction. Does that mean that if we have two elevated tanks separated by a great distance but connected throw a perfectly horizontal pipe ,and then we fill the first tank with water till it reaches a certain height, then the...- Sameh soliman

What is the total torque of that system?
Ok ... to make it more clear for me let's imagine something else . The same last diagram you drawn but this time there is no seesaw but it is an object on a ramp that have the same angle we used, this ramp has a vertical wall attached to it in which the object is stuck infront of it. Also there...- Sameh soliman

What is the total torque of that system?
Thanks so much for your help... but i have a question . you said that since the object isn't moving vertically then FN*Cos(30) = mg, which mean that the total magnitude of Fn is greater than mg. so my question is ... Since mg is the only exterior force acting on the object then how could a...- Sameh soliman
