MATLAB Reshaping Multi-Dimensional Arrays in MATLAB
Ok so here is the problem I have a 15x15x4001 structure. Basically it is a matrix at 4001 time points. I want to track one element at a time as a function of time the problem is that mystruct(1,1,:) is being read as a 1x1x4001 structure I want it to read in as either 4001x1 or...- short circut

What is the Best Ebook Reader for Reading Journal Articles?
I really do not know which form this fits in. Recently I have been looking into getting an Ebook reader like the kindle to avoid things like printing massive amounts of material or reading on a laptop screen. So I was wondering what is the best ebook reader for reading things like Journal...- short circut

Undergrad Calculation beyond computional limits
Yeah everything is reporting 1. Thats what i was trying to get around. I don't think i can get around it. Because that gives me a ratio of sqrt(1/(1.(86 zeros)1)) Which i can't even imagine. So basically you have to get that v/c ratio of the speed of light to turn a raindrop into a black hole...- short circut

Undergrad Calculation beyond computional limits
So i am ttying to calculate a velocity in this problem i dreamt up. Only problem i can't get a computer to solve it. So i was hoping someone here could help i am trying to find the value of x such that \frac{\sqrt{1-x^2}}{x}=1.0967*10^{-86} This arose in me trying to calculate somewhat...- short circut

Missing 'x' in Expectation Value Formula
yes it should read<x>=<\psi|x|\psi> = \int_{-\infty}^{\infty}\psi^*x\psi dx make sure you write it in this form too. Otherwise when you start putting in other operators like p you will get it wrong.- short circut

Math Bad economy and funding in science and maths?
I have a feeling that the maths will be hit worse, because the sciences will be where the technological innovation comes from. Maths will be incredibly useful to the economic redevelopment though. Hard to say which will be hurt worse. We really will need both of them.- short circut

Physics Industrial grad degrees with a physics bs
Medical physics is a wonderful carrer choice. Lots of money available, and decent demand if you do well in graduate studies. Unfortunately for me it in no way interests me, but we are talking about you. I would recommend choosing what interests you the most... And nuclear engineering should not...- short circut

Schools Getting into grad school with a less than amazing record
I have a somewhat similar experience, but I did not get sick. I just had my buisiest semester ever. My gre scores are crap to say the least(630 phys, 490 verbal(small vocabulary)). THey do not reflect my abilities. But I have been published twice, once in a major journal, and the other as first...- short circut

Is it odd to get help with physics homework from your proffessor
I always have to work that way, because everyone else waits till the night before the assignment is due and ends up staying up all night and turning in a halfassed incomplete homework.- short circut
