    B Viewing distant celestial objects

I know it's expensive, but why not aim for something better? We all need to have a source of motivation to move forward. Finally, we all dream about something: you want to buy a telescope, I want to launch CubeSat, and it's okay.

    B Viewing distant celestial objects

Last night, when I went out to observe starts, I got the idea to have my own satellite to observe stars, exoplanets, and our Earth. I know that even university students build satellites and launch them into space. Why can't we do the same? Having a telescope is amazing, but having its own...

B Need your advice how to start learning astronomy

YouTube and other space forums were my biggest helpers in learning astronomy. What about choosing a telescope? I browsed this forum and found a few threads dedicated to this issue. I suppose that the main thing is not the sources you use, but your desire because if you want to learn something...

I Strange radio signal from Proxima Centauri

Until scientists proved that there is civilization in Alpha Centauri, these signals mean nothing. However, I don't deny the possibility of reaching this star system in the far future. I heard that uncrewed mission to Alpha Centauri for 2069. Btw, I think many new space agencies and aerospace...

B Mars Landing, How instantaneous communication was possible

I suppose the majority of them. When you watch NASA's streams from time to time, like it or not, you start to understand how things in space work. I don't mean they all are experts, I mean they have at least a basic knowledge of it.

B Has there ever been a planet-planet eclipse (i.e., observed from Earth)?

Well, I was born at the wrong time:sorry:. I don't think I'll live until 2065 to see the Venus-Jupiter eclipse, although I adore stargazing, and I'd like to see this event. And even if I can live so long, I'll hardly be able to travel somewhere. It's disappointing.

Description of Titan and Potential Approaches to its Exploration

I read that NASA and ESA have planned to launch Titan Saturn System Mission. The project was created in 2009, but its implementation was postponed due to certain reasons. Nowadays, all space agencies are obsessed with Mars exploration, but I hope they'll continue exploring other important space...

B What force keeps the planets orbiting normally?

There's no single force that can keep planets in orbit around the Sun. Gravity and inertia are two major forces that do it, and gravity is the major one.

I Why is Mars not considered a "full-fledged" planet?

The first my thought was, "It's just a play on words," but @lomidrevo post made me think a little more deeply about it. I seem to have a good knowledge of astronomy, but I completely forgot about the different stages of planet formation. However, it's just a theory. Now, Mars is considered to...

B Mars Landing, How instantaneous communication was possible

I agree that we all are accustomed to delays, so NASA relied on the time they received a signal from Mars, not the real time. Moreover, people who watch NASA's live streams are aware of how the Earth-Mars communication occurs, so they thought there's no need to explain how the delay is overcome.
