High School Can You Solve This Hilarious Limit Problem Involving Sine and Infinity?
ok, not really math, but funny nonetheless 2 atoms were walking down the street. One says to the other "oh no, i think i have lost a electron" The other says "are yout sure?" To which the first replies "Yes, I am positive!"- spongebob_79

Maximizing Metabolism: The Truth About Eating Frequency and Weight Loss
Like i said, i am not an expert, but it is something i have heard a few times from different people. Perhaps it is incorrect, or maybe the time is shorter, i really couldn't say.- spongebob_79

Which Disbanded Groups Do You Wish You Could Have Seen Live?
QUEEN! and maybe Guns N Roses. Im afraid i am quite awkward, and tend to like different songs from different artists, and rearely most of the work of a single band.- spongebob_79

Seeking Advice on Increasing Electric Motor Power Output
Heh heh yeah i can imagine! Thanks again for your comments. I am now thinking that the simple gearing would be easier, but will keep my options open  Like i say, if you have any fantabulous ideas, feel free to post them  Thanks again Danger!- spongebob_79

High School Can You Solve This Hilarious Limit Problem Involving Sine and Infinity?
I like this one... "Did you hear about the constipated mathmatician?" "He had to work it out with a pencil!" Or along similar lines... "Did you hear about the constipated accountant?" "He couldn't budget, so he had to use a pencil!" tee hee:smile:- spongebob_79

Maximizing Metabolism: The Truth About Eating Frequency and Weight Loss
Hi Im no expert, but what i think/have heard is that by eating little and often, you maintain/increase your metabolic rate (i think this is the rate at which your body burns energy) Another way to look at it is, if say you only had one meal a day, your body would react by absorbing all the...- spongebob_79

Seeking Advice on Increasing Electric Motor Power Output
Sorry, i think my last post may have confused matters, that's my fault. I will try to clarify, but I am afraid i am not very articulate, so sorry if it sounds like I am "dumbing it down" that's not my intention. How i believe a wind turbine generator works is say the armature/coils of a motor...- spongebob_79

Seeking Advice on Increasing Electric Motor Power Output
Thanks for the replies! Its much appreciated. I will have a read of the link, and also try to google +"counter-rotation" +"electric motor". Well, i can assure you, I am not a huckster out to sell you guys free energy, but i have a bag of sparks, some tartan paint and some left handed...- spongebob_79

Seeking Advice on Increasing Electric Motor Power Output
Thanks for your reply! Well part of the idea was to consider a contra rotating set of turbine blades, which would provide this extra speed. Furthermore, i thought that (with correct blade and pitch selection) this second rotation may provide power generation in conditions which may not be...- spongebob_79

Home Power Generation - Can You "Sell" Energy Back to the Grid?
Im not sure, but i think to enable the grid to accept electricity, it may have to be a certain frequency/phase i think. I like the idea for the gymnasium though :-)- spongebob_79

Seeking Advice on Increasing Electric Motor Power Output
Hi there. Im afraid i know very little about electrical engineering:confused: , hence why I am here, but any help / direction / suggested reading would be much appreciated! Like i say, sorry if this is a completely stupid question:blushing: , but if you don't ask you don't get right? and who...- spongebob_79
