Undergrad How are proportionality constants in physical relations determined?
I wanted to ask how are the values of proportionality constants in physical relations determined. How do we come to know their exact values ? An explanation with an example please...- Syed Ammar

Can we achieve practical personal flight with current options?
What I think at this point after going through all the post and its replies, is a solar-aircraft with fold-able body, with high storage power batteries. If carrying power with you is a hurdle, why not put up a solar station (in geostationary orbit and elsewhere, just suggesting) and use...- Syed Ammar

Graduate The Nature of Strong Force: Explaining Its Cause and Effects
I just meant to say that these models have not been seen, just been formulated from results of experiments, and you know what the common perception( Seeing is Believing) is. Thanks a hundred times for that link.. :)- Syed Ammar

BTW, Could you explain how the gluons generate this strong force (leaving the formation of sub-atomic particles by the gluons aside).- Syed Ammar

Graduate The Nature of Strong Force: Explaining Its Cause and Effects
Please explain how is exactly strong force caused, I've come across various answers but haven't yet received a complete answer. What is the nature of the strong force? P.S: If this is the wrong thread, Please RE-LOCATE and do not remove please. :)- Syed Ammar

Can Nanotech or Bacteria Provide a Cure for Ebola?
I was just wondering if some bacteria or nanotechnology could be genetically engineered to target the Ebola strains? Is this possible? If it is then why is no one coming up with a cure?- Syed Ammar
