The clamp I used was actually from the top of the lip on the wall to the bottom of the lip. In this clamping prototype I also got rid of the piece that runs along the top of the wall. I appreciate the info on supporting the bends, however the biggest issue I'm having is how to prevent the structure from rotating off the wall to the right (using orientation from drawing). Let me see if I can offer more info in regards to your comments: 1) Without diving to much into what I'm trying to develop, yes, the 300lb load is a person.
