Integrating e^(t(x^2)): Mistakes, Confusion, and Solutions
not homework but stumbled across it when i was doing homework, turns out id made a mistake earlyer and didnt have to do it but still the fact sits that i didnt know how to do it wether i needed to at the time or not... how do i intergrate e^(t(x^2)) i know intergrating is the oposit of...- Tester_Boy

Physics: Projectile Motion with different starting and ending heights?
ok, find time taken to travel the 20m horizontaly using trig to find horizontal velocity speed = distance/time ==> time = distance/speed i would take 1.5m as being height=0 so the pole top is 0.2m then just add your 1.5 back in at the end, so esentualy your working out the change in height :]...- Tester_Boy

Dynamics: Projectile Motion velocity equation
i think the asumption that the projectile in question can be a particle will sufice, that is to say an object that has mass confined to a single point with no volume. I think the more pressing question is what chance is there of the particle passing straight through the roof of the tunnel thus...- Tester_Boy

Energy needed to tunnel through a potential barrier
Homework Statement An electron approaches a potential barrier 10 eV high and 0.5 nm wide. If the electron has a 1% chance of tunnelling through, what must be its energy? Homework Equations don't know how to put equations in eg how do i get something like alpha and theta etc...- Tester_Boy
