Incorrect simulation results for flyback converter using Simpowersys
That was intentional, I wanted to have a negative output voltage, that is why they are reversed :) Here is what the output is supposed to look like in this configuration using another program http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/355/cmgy.png- thecake

Incorrect simulation results for flyback converter using Simpowersys
Hello :) I have created a flyback converter model using Simpowersystems in Simulink/Matlab. But it always gives me the wrong answer! I have simulated the same system using PLECS and Simscape/simulink and got the correct answer. But with my Simpowersystems model, it always gives me the wrong...- thecake

Present Decisions and Future Implications
You can't escape mathematics! Or physics! Engineering is applied math! I am an engineering student, and almost all the courses I took included math one way or another. I think so! Fuel cells, bio-fuels, combustion all involve chemistry ;D- thecake

Graduate Fourier Transform question, is it correct to remove the correcting factor?
You're right it is a function of (t) xD! Silly me. I've just checked. So is he right after all? -

Graduate Fourier Transform question, is it correct to remove the correcting factor?
Well, that's what I have written in my notes, what's wrong? Omega is the angular frequency Though he never substitutes it. So, should I go have a talk with him? But the questions are multiple choice, so if I use a different form I'd get a different answer :( -

Graduate Fourier Transform question, is it correct to remove the correcting factor?
My math professor doesn't include the correcting (normalizing factor) neither in the Fourier transform nor in the inverse Fourier! He says that it's optional. It is weird because I have seen it used in all the textbooks! Is it a big deal? He defines the Fourier transform as:-... -

What's Your Spring 2010 Class Lineup?
Hmm I am going to take Analog electronics and Circuits 2! Both with their labs :) I might also take Instruments and Measurements with its lab :(, and Engineering Economics. Fluid Mechanics plus AutoCad or Digital systems. And of course Partial Differential Equations! This is going to be a...- thecake
