General-purpose digital multimeter?
I was thinking in the $50-100 range. I've never really priced one before so I'm not really sure what you get for the money. I'd like to have the basics like AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, continuity, maybe capacitance and frequency.- tiny iota

PDE's in Electrical Engineering
I think I remember using them in some classes for electromagnetic fields & waves. I'm more of a controls/signal processing/power guy and I don't use them regularly.- tiny iota
