    C/C++, Fortran and Matlab are the main ones. Java if you're considering working outside academia. Labview if you're suicidal and wish to learn the worst piece of software ever created by man.

    Computational Fluid Dynamics and modeling are both pretty much full-time programming. In fact, they're pretty much the two areas of physics and engineering which use the most programming.

    Do something you enjoy. If you hate your courses, you won't get good grades. It's never easy to pull a 3.7+ in physics anywhere, but it's definitely possible with enough hard work. Why do you want to go to med school?
