Graduate M-Theory states that there are an infanite amount of other realities
The multiverse theory states that there are an infanite amount of other realities, and that anything that can happen will hapen. How does this really work?- Ultrastar 1

Graduate Can white holes really exist as the opposite of black holes?
You are right it would violate the second law of thermodynamics, in fact it violates a lot of physics laws. In my opinion, white holes are noexistent. Here is why: the white hole theory states that white holes are just the opposite of black holes. They connect to black holes via a wormhole and...- Ultrastar 1

Undergrad What Would Happen if Two Black Holes Got Too Close?
Hi everyone. Does anyone know what would happen if two black holes got too close toghether? Would the merge and become a supermassive black hole?- Ultrastar 1

Undergrad Can Supermassive Black Holes Really Exist and What Evidence Supports Them?
I tought that was impossible. I thought that if two black holes came within proximity of each other's acression disks, they would be destroyed or just reppled from each other. Does anyone know what would happen if two black holes got too close together? Is black hole merging even possible?- Ultrastar 1

Graduate The Singularity of a Black Hole: Unanswered Questions
Hi qmstudent, first let me say that no question about physics is a stupid question on physics fourms (after all that's why its there right?) About the black hole: in theory this is how a black hole works: matter goes into the acrettion disk (the field of gravity produced by the black hole just...- Ultrastar 1

Undergrad Can Supermassive Black Holes Really Exist and What Evidence Supports Them?
One topic that interests me is supermassive black holes. Do you think they can exist? Also, have any been reported?- Ultrastar 1

Graduate Faster than Light Travel Side Effects
I was doing research on faster than light travel and a question popped into my head: what would be the side effects of faster than light speed travel? Any ideas?- Ultrastar 1

Undergrad Is Faster than Light Travel Possible?
Here are the charts: http://games.pbem-portal.com/startrek/ussterranova/warpchart.html http://www.startrek.com.sg/warp.html Read the last line on the second one. It says that a starship traveling at 10 times the speed of light (warp 10) will occupy all points in space at the same time.- Ultrastar 1

Undergrad Is Faster than Light Travel Possible?
I was doing research on fastaer than light travel, and I came across a chart that said that said that a starship can only travel ten times the speed of light until it occupies all points in space. (I understand that this is fiction, and is only possible in theory but I am still intreasted in...- Ultrastar 1

Graduate Can Black Holes Create Interdimensional Bridges to Other Universes?
What you are thinking of is an interdemintional bridge or conduit. White holes are not possible. They are only possible in math, but not in space. I do, however believe in the m-theory.- Ultrastar 1

Graduate What Happens to Gravity and Temperature at the Center of a Black Hole?
''if u were at the center of a black hole which way would the gravity pull u. if it pulled u at all. what do u guys think.'' Inside a black hole, there is a circular structure. This structure is the collapessed core of a star. So, gravity will most likely pull toward the core, then it would...- Ultrastar 1

Graduate Can a Stellar Object Become a Black Hole through Relativistic Mass Increase?
No it wont. No matter how much energy is applied to the outside of a star, it will not create a black hole, at least not instantly. The only way to create a black hole in this case, is to apply energy to the core of the star.- Ultrastar 1

Graduate Can a Stellar Object Become a Black Hole through Relativistic Mass Increase?
It will not become a black hole. Black holes can only come form colappsed stars and a handfull of other things, but not a star going at the speed of light. Most likely, it will just keep on ganing mass as it travels faster. By the way, how did it accelerate to the speed of light in the first place?- Ultrastar 1
