Well that is good to hear. I am a computer architecture type person focusing on memory design. The class is weather radar and while the radar engineering part is interesting learning graduate meteorology is killing my time. It is just not worth it I think.
Hello,
I am a graduate student and I currently taking a class that is unrelated to anything that I am doing in my research or field of study. I was told by my graduate advisor that I would need another class this semester, however, that turns out to be incorrect and I no longer need this...
Well I would probably not worry, but my apartment building keeps having this wonderful habit of losing my mail or forgetting to tell me that I have it. So I was just making sure nothing had been lost, but by the looks of it no. So I will wait.
Well I do not know if they have sent out any acceptance letters yet or not, I guess I will just email them. I have crappy mail and knowing my luck my letter got lost somewhere.
I was wondering when you start hearing back from graduate school? I applied way back in December but I have yet to hear anything back from them. So I was wondering is anyone else starting to hear back from there graduate schools they applied too? Thanks
That is kind of what i thought. I was thinking I might do Applied Physics in either solid state or nanotechnology and i think i am drawn more to the physics side than the engineering side. Anyone else have a opinion?
I am a electrical engineering major, about to enter my junior year. I really want to go after a master's degree with a focus on Solid State. But I have been getting interested in Condensed Matter. My question is would a Master's degree in Physics really be worth anything? I want to work in...
So i will tell you were i am coming from. I am a Electrical Engineer at OU and the idea has wondered into my mind about going into physics. The thing is i am week in classical mechanics and have no Quantum mechanics(Though i hope to take it next year). What would be some really good books that i...
So I am currently a EE student. I really want to get my masters degree in either EE or physics. I want to do work is solid state devices. Here at my college i could do work either through the EE or do it through the physics department because they have a strong solid state program. My question...
