Words of Wisdom for a Stressed out High-School Freshman?
Thank you everyone! I should point out Leonheart231, I'm doing IB A. Because Florida schools are terrible, and B. because the school I'd be zoned for is terrible for a Florida school, so I just decided to do IB at a different school. Words of Wisdom for a Stressed out High-School Freshman?
Hello, and as you can probably tell I'm a stressed out high school freshman. I understand that I'm a freshman and I should enjoy my high school years, blah blah blah, but high school is only four years of your life, so yes I'm worrying about which schools I get into as they will decide my...- Willis666

What Are Your Thoughts on the Best Laptop for Under $750?
Thanks everyone. I usually dual boot windows and linux, mostly use linux though. I've had bad experiences with every computer I've ever owned, and the only major brand I haven't owned is Apple and ASUS, and I don't like apple.- Willis666

What Are Your Thoughts on the Best Laptop for Under $750?
I'm looking for a laptop that costs around $600-$700, highest being like $750. I currently have an '09 Toshiba Satellite, and hate it. Not going to go with Toshiba, the charger is crap, the speakers are crap, the touchpad is crap, everything is a piece of crap. I got some spare cash over...- Willis666

Why Did My Teacher Deduct Points for My Sentence?
Today I had a vocabulary test at school. One of the words on the test was recluse, and I had to use it in a sentence. I wrote the following: Osama was believed to live in recluse. The teacher put a -1 mark next to the sentence. Usually the teacher will write next to the sentence why it...- Willis666

Science Fair Question: Unifying Forces and Winning Science Fairs
Okay, I plan on going to county science fair after my school science fair this year. I'm in 9th grade, and did a double slit experiment (with light!.) A friend of mine (best friend) has won first place before on a county and state level (same experiment.) And several grand prizes type things. He...- Willis666

Looking for free animation program
I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm designing a game in PHP (been designing it for several months now.) And want to release a trailer. Right now, the game isn't very pretty, and won't be until I get someone to do some artwork for me, but I haven't gotten much interest anywhere I've posted looking...- Willis666

High School Nonexistence outside the universe
Not sure if this is really the answer to your question. The theory I've heard of is that once you reach the supposed "edge" of the universe, it wraps around, like pacman, so the universe can be thought of as a sort of beach ball (although the universe is mathematically proven to be flat.) Where...- Willis666

Stargazing Which Mid-Priced Telescope Should I Choose?
So far, I've had a Orion SkyScanner 100 for about 2 months, and I love it. I go out any time the weather is clear, and blast Bob Marley while I watch the stars. Since Christmas is coming up, I plan on getting some spare cash, and have decided I would like to buy a mid priced telescope...- Willis666
