Maximizing Savings for Your Future for Young Adults
Hey, I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to ask this but there's no harm in trying. I am 19 and an engineering major. I've heard people older than me talking about how they are losing their pensions/retirement and that they wished that they would have started started saving money...- WolfpackPride

Masters After Undergrad vs. Part-Time While Working
Hey, In the opinions of the members of this forum, which is more beneficial in the long-run: Pursuing a masters degree (MSEE) directly after undergrad or working for a company with tuition reimbursement for about 6 months and doing it part time. I figure that the 30 credit hours needed for...- WolfpackPride

Solving 16 KB Memory with 16 Bit Wordsize
Bits in 16KB? 1KB=1024 bytes 1 byte = 8 bits 16(1024)=16384bytes 16384bytes*(8 bits / 1 byte) = 131072 bits If in that 16 KB of memory, you stored 16-bit variables, how many variables could you store? (131072 bits / 16 bits variables) = 8192 Now convert that into base-2 so the solution...- WolfpackPride

Solving 16 KB Memory with 16 Bit Wordsize
Wait a second...would I just multiply 1024 times 16? It's not neccesarily the math, but rather the terminology that is confusing me. 16KB = 1024bytes(16) = 16384 bytes but is that how many "16 bit words that can be stored" They're asking for the answer in terms of "words" which is really...- WolfpackPride

Becoming a Professional Engineer
I'm in the US. Raleigh/Durham area in North Carolina. So you think there is no point going after it, or would being one of the few PE be a huge help? Are you sure about a quarter million because that sounds extremely high for an engineering salary? Also, why is the second option so much more...- WolfpackPride

Engineering Degree Planning for Engineering/Business. .
I aiming for middle to perhaps upper level management (considering I can make it that far, of course). To me, anything past that isn't engineering at all and is strictly business (Correct me if I am wrong). Just to clarify, would someone care to elaborate on the levels of management as far...- WolfpackPride
