How Are Slits Made for the Double Slit Experiment?

I just have one question...what do you mean 'not touching the particle'? This is a mechanism which applies magnetic force to the particles, splits beams using those forces, blocking them...how is it not 'touching' it? That's what 'touching' means in respect to particles(and in general really)...

    Question about double slit experiment

DarioC, thanks a bunch for all the excellent info! You've been a great help man, much appreciated! I'm going through the docs right now, hoping I'll get something out of them. :)

How Are Slits Made for the Double Slit Experiment?

This does not make much sense to me. What do you mean 'if we could construct a perfect measuring tool which could measure the system without doint that'? I mean, how could it work, the detector showing measurings about the electorns(that is, the state of the electrons affects the state of the...

Uncertainty Principle: My Solid State Physics Class

You know, I'm aware of what you describe, and what I always couldn't understand is that how all this works. We know that Heisenberg's argument(how the observer is entagnled with the observable system) is "correct", from a phycisal standpoint, and it gives a calculation of the momentum-position...

    Question about double slit experiment

I have a question about the double split experiment, don't know if it's been asked before... Specifically, I have read and watched in some videos explaining that, when shooting electrons, physicists decided to shoot 'one electron at a time', to make sure they are not interfering with each...
